Ryan Boelter, co-host of Character Creation Cast and creator of the Chimera RPG joins me to talk fandom! One of the great things about Ryan is how similar we are in age, which means we grew up on many of the same things at the same time.

We kick things off with a discussion about Sailor Moon, one of the longest running anime fandoms. Then Ryan educates me about Robert Jordan’s “The Wheel of Time” book series. It’s a fascinating conversation about the series. As a long time fantasy lover, it was great to hear a new perspective.

Then we roll into tabletop roleplaying games. From Ryan’s start in roleplaying, creating the Character Creation Cast podcast, creating the Chimera RPG and work Ryan does in so many facets of the TTRPG podcast arena.
